HotStays.com Unveils its New Suitcase Function for Vacation Rentals

Traveling in large groups is now simplified

Daytona Beach, Fl., International Web Media, LLC, owner and developer of the global travel portal, www.HotStays.com, has today announced its newest convenience tool: an e-suitcase.

Aswin Suri, CEO of International Web Media, LLC, advised: ‘We continue our commitment to providing the best search tools to the vacation rental industry. This unique e-suitcase allows members to ‘pack’ vacation rentals, cabin rentals, Bed and Breakfast Inns and/or Hotels – and email them to friends or business associates for review.”

Research from the TIA – the leader in domestic and international travel, economic and marketing research – indicated that 40% of online travel bookers make all of their travel purchases on line, versus 29% in 2003. “Coupled with the fact that the travel industry is still in modest recovery, and larger groups are traveling together to share expenses, this suitcase function is a time and frustration saving device to allow large groups of people to share information on properties in one simple email.” Suri continues.

The suitcase will hold an unlimited amount of properties for an unlimited amount of time, once a membership has been created. A ‘light box’, which is both printable and emailable, is created at the top of the page for easy viewing of the suitcase contents.

Suri advises that ‘generation two’ of the suitcase is already under development by Chief Software Architect, Bruce Kirkpatrick and Jason Sumner, International Web Media, LLC’s newest web developer. ‘Expect more and more tools to streamline and energize the vacation rental market for both our users and members next quarter.’
